3d Walkthrough Custom Pocket Dimension Model

Here’s a 3d walkthrough of a 360′ cubic fantasy “pocket dimension” concept. Some of the buildings are just blocked out roughly to show their location and general size and shape, since I ran out of time.

The render is also a little sketchy because of time constraints. I didn’t have time to do any compositing, texturing,  or tweaking, so in some parts the light is a little blown out, etc.  I was re-learning camera animation in Modo for this, so some of the frames don’t exactly transition correctly either.  Altogether probably 30 hours concepting, revising, kitbashing, and modeling, 20+ hours of camera rigging, pathing, and animation, and about 150 hours of rendering one basic color pass at 1280×720 with global illumination.

TWC Renders 09 – First High-Res

Read PostHere is the first high-resolution image from the project so far. Though after post-processing and camera and light tweaking the final product should look much better.

TWC Renders 08 – More Roof Statues

Read Post

Since the statues on the roof are going to be so tiny, I made them pretty haphazardly, but they will still more than suit their purpose.
